A Blind Girl (Story)

There was a blind girl who hated herself because she was blind. She hated everyone, except her loving boyfriend. He was always there for her. She told her boyfriend, 'If I could only see the world, I will marry you.' One day, someone donated a pair of eyes to her. When the bandages came off, she was able to see everything, including her boyfriend. He asked her,'Now that you can see the world, will you marry me?' The girl looked at her boyfriend and saw that he was blind. The sight of his closed eyelids shocked her. She hadn't expected that. The thought flooking at them the rest of her life led her to refuse to marry him.. Her boyfriend left in tears and days later rote a note to her saying: 'Take good care of your eyes, my dear, for before they were yours, they were mine.'

This is how the human brain often works when our status changes. Only a very few remember what life was like before, and who was always by their side in the most painful situations.

Life Is a Gift Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak.

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat.

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion..

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven.

Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet. And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job.And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on yourface and think: you're alive and still around.

I PRAY THIS MOVES AROUND THE ENTIRE UNIVERSE...

I would say the story is not properly illustrated and it does not hit home a few points. The writer should have qualified the statements.

Blind Folded Version

The story of the blind girl was ridiculous and superfluous and to a great extent it was sheer senseless and a definite example of meaninglessness. But it is capable of misleading the ordinary people like me who immediately come to the conclusion that the boy has done a great sacrifice and deserves to be honoured. Blind folding the girl was not called for as in the picture as she was not able to see and the boy should have been reasonable in donating only one eye which could have rectified the defect of the girl. No doctor will ever think of gouging the eyes of a living human being let alone transplanting the same on a girl who will not be benefited if she were blind from birth.

The ethics on conclusion and philosophical addenda are all farce and not at all related to the story presented on certain purpose. Since I donít have anything worth while to do and have enough time after stipulated intervals of timely feeding, I thought of modifying the essential part of the various statements abundantly supplied along with, to give it another dimensional vision. If I ever happen to exceed the formality and probable limits of friendship I am sure you will be inclined to forgive and forget.

Life Is a Gift Today before you say an unkind word - Think of someone who can't speak ( but only nods in support).

Before you complain about the taste of your food - Think of someone who has nothing to eat (but drinks cans of beer.)

Before you complain about your husband or wife - Think of someone who's crying out to GOD for a companion (for the keeps).

Today before you complain about life - Think of someone who went too early to heaven. ( By the time you reach there Heavenly charm would be lost! )
Before whining about the distance you drive Think of someone who walks the same distance with their feet (accompanied by an acceptable partner.) And when you are tired and complain about your job - Think of the unemployed, the disabled, and those who wish they had your job. (Think of the pleasant unemployed living, devouring the fortune of the land as we used to, in the past!) And when depressing thoughts seem to get you down - Put a smile on your face and think: you're alive and still around. (And hunt for the alleviating commodities and adoptable measures.)

(The bracketed additions are my contribution.)

The boy had the vision in his eyes but seems was blind with his love and desire for the girl. One doesnot donate both the eyes. sharing means giving one and retaining one. For the sake of story, it may be donation of both the eyes, in reality this is never done and no surgeon would do that either. As long as there are eyes to shed tears, there will be such blind stories.
