Meissen porcelain 300 years
January 23, Meissen is celebrating its 300th anniversary. Meissen porcelain is still produced by hand, as the locals call it “white gold” because of its high cost. Today, more than half of production goes abroad, is especially popular among collectors of German porcelain from Japan and Taiwan.
