Funzug Publisher App

Last updated: October 10, 2026

Funzug Publisher is an internal publishing tool operated for Funzug.com by authorized administrators. It is used to prepare, review, and publish approved content to Funzug’s Facebook Page and linked Instagram Professional account. It is not a public sign-up service.

Information processed
The tool processes the connected Facebook Page and Instagram account identifiers and access credentials; draft post material such as captions, headlines, images, source references, and proposed publishing times; approval records such as the reviewer name, review note, and approval time; and publishing records such as Meta post identifiers, timestamps, and success or failure details.

How the information is used
This information is used to verify access to Funzug’s connected accounts, prepare and publish approved posts, avoid duplicate topics, and keep an audit record. The current workflow does not request or store audience members’ profile details, follower lists, comments, direct messages, or engagement analytics. Once a post is published, its content is visible according to the relevant Facebook and Instagram settings.

Storage and service providers
Drafts, source references, schedules, approvals, and publishing history are maintained in a private GitHub repository. Access credentials are stored as GitHub Actions repository secrets and are supplied to automation jobs when needed. The workflow is designed not to print those credentials in its logs. Meta receives the relevant account identifiers, access credentials, caption, and image URL to verify account access and publish posts through its services. Images may be placed at a publicly accessible HTTPS address so Meta can retrieve them for publication.

ChatGPT/Codex may be used to research and draft content and generate images. Information provided to those tools, including prompts, draft content, and image material, is processed by OpenAI under the applicable service settings and policies. Meta, GitHub, and OpenAI handle information under their own policies: Meta Privacy Policy, GitHub General Privacy Statement, and OpenAI Privacy Policy.

Retention and choices
There is no fixed deletion period for publishing drafts and audit records. They may be retained in the private repository and GitHub Actions logs for operational and recordkeeping purposes, subject to the applicable repository and service retention settings. Access credentials remain in GitHub Actions secrets until removed or replaced. Meta controls copies of published posts on its platforms. An authorized account administrator may ask us to remove or correct workflow records by contacting us. To end account access, the administrator should also revoke the relevant access credential through Meta and remove the corresponding GitHub secret. Deletion from one service may not immediately remove copies retained in backups, logs, or version history by that service.

Third-party services and links
This app-specific section applies to the Funzug publishing workflow. Meta, GitHub, and OpenAI services are governed by their own terms and privacy policies. Future changes to the app’s data access or use will be reflected in this policy.
