U.K. based artist Jamie Poole creates large scale portraits using strips of paper cut from poems and pieced together with painstaking precision. For his latest project Jamie used love letters and poems that his fiancé wrote to him over the last 2 years to create this incredible life-like self portrait. Jamie says of his work, “As text is layered the words, lines and phrases are repeated and embedded into the work creating a unifying physicality.
